Digital Infrastructure Survey

In 2021, the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District (MSD) received $50,000 of EDA CARES Act funding to complete a digital infrastructure study with its member communities. The study will examine existing conditions related to digital connectivity and propose local and regional recommendations for enhancing digital networks and COVID-19 recovery. This project officially kicked off in February 2022, with the consultant analyzing available data related to broadband access and community assets. It is slated for completion in early June 2022.
