FCC Offers Internet Access and Computers to Low Income Individuals
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is offering a new program to help low-income individuals access the internet and receive a computer if they don’t have one. It is called the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and is an evolution of the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) which was created to help with COVID and has since expired. The ACP is intended to be permanent.
Here are a couple of links – the second one is a great toolkit and it has printed as well as digital content and much of it is in multiple languages.
