Statewide Radon Testing Goal Announcement

On January 17th, Utah Radon Services announced a statewide goal to have 21,000 Utah homes tested for Radon for free by Februay 14th.

Radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless radioactive gas that can infiltrate your home through even the smallest pores in the foundation. Due to Utah’s unique geography, this invisible threat is found at dangerous levels in over half of Utah homes. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.

To help alleviate this issue, 21,000 radon tests are being offered for FREE. To claim a free radon test, please visit the Utah Radon Services website.
